Scott Weiland is due to have out a solo album early next year. The album will not really sound too much like STP. It is supposed to sound a little more like pop, "but it still rocks," Weiland says.
Meanwhile, Talk Show (three fourths of STP) are getting ready for the release of their album on September 2. Some reports from reviewers say that it is influenced by Aerosmith, and some say that it just sounds like STP with a different voice. I agree with it sounding like STP, after I heard the first single today, "Hello Hello" from the self-titled album. It might just be pretty good.
