Green Day will return to record stores with their new album, Nimrod, October 14. But the band doesn't really care what anyone thinks about it...
"I don't really give a rat's ass what anybody thinks of this record because I know I like it," Green Day frontman Billie Joe said during a break in the studio. "This record, more so than any other record, I think we sort of bled over this one a little more," Billie Joe said. "I mean, this is a record I've been wanting to make since the band pretty much started." Does that mean it will sound really different? Maybe...
Green Day shot the album's first video, "Hitchin' A Ride," recently. Next, the band will go on tour for support of Nimrod. (We should have a preview of Green Day's first single soon for you...)
