Oasis Brothers in the News Again

Intruders supposedly made an unsuccessful attempt to break into Noel Gallagher's expensive three-story townhouse in north London Sunday night. Both Gallagher, on a tour of England but off that night, and his wife, Meg, an executive at Creation, the band's record company, were out celebrating Liam's 25th birthday. The thieves tripped an alarm and immediately ran from the scene, most likely empty handed because they set off the alarms. Police refused to sat whether or not anything was stolen during the short time the thieves were there.

In a magazine interview last year, Gallagher had admitted to "burgled houses and nicked car stereos" in his past. A recent book on the Gallagher brothers also tells that in his early teens, Noel had been in trouble with the law twice, once for stealing from a sweet shop run by two old ladies and once for breaking into a house.

In an unrelated story, brother Liam Gallagher of Oasis was given a formal warning from London police very recently after a conflict with a bicyclist. The singer supposedly grabbed the bicyclist through the window of his chauffeur-driven Mercedes, making him ride alongside the car. Liam then got out of the car and broke the bicyclist's Ray-Ban sunglasses. It is unknown by us what caused Liam to do this.
