The Sugar Ray hit "Fly" and the latest Smash Mouth single "Walking on the Sun" are both doing well, but neither one has been officially released as a single. The reason for this is that the record companies behind those albums are hoping fans will by the entire album instead of just a single, to bring in more sales.
Now a new label has come along to ruin these record comapnies' plans, called Under The Covers Records. They will soon release studio-group covers of those two tunes. The cover tunes will be out under the group names Sweet Rain and Smack, which would put them right around where the orginal artists would have been. The company may do this to other songs if the record companies continue to do this. So, make sure you are buying the song you want the next time you go to the record store...it might sound like crap if it's not the original artist.
