Pearl Jam have now finished the recording of their next album, tentatively called "Yield," including a single which will be out by the end of this year. The group's manager says that a new single is scheduled for release in December. The whole album will be coming on February 3. Also, the band will most likely not shoot a video for the album's first single.
"They're just deciding the sequence of songs now and which ones will be on the album," says the manager for Pearl Jam. He says they recorded "lots of songs," which he estimated at between 18 and 20. Some of these might even be previewed at their three opening shows for the Rolling Stones in Oakland, Calif. on Nov. 14, 15 and 18. "Knowing them, they will want to unveil some..." said the manager.
Despite the bad response to Pearl Jam's previous album, "No Code," which just about everyone hated, the new album is expected to be more welcomed and...better.
