Bush On Soundtracks, Home Video

[11-04-97 Tues] As if Bush wasn't busy enough this month, they are now appearing on new soundtracks and will also release a home video. Their remix album, "Deconstructed," is out this month, with a new single, and now will come out with a video documentary. The home video, called "Alleys and Motorways," will come out on the same date as the remix album, on November 18. The home video shows Bush from their very first show in 1992 up to last summer's performance at the Reading Festival in England. It details their growth through that time. Included will be a "video diary" with interviews, home movies, and taping from Bush's concerts. Not only that, but there are appearances by Metallica's James Hetfield, Marilyn Manson and Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale's supposed girlfriend, No Doubt's Gwen Stefani.

Also, a couple remixes from Bush's upcoming "Deconstructed" album will appear on some soundtracks. Goldie's "Toasted On Both Sides" remix of "Swallowed" will be on the soundtrack for the new movie, "The Jackal," which opens November 14. The "Jackal" soundtrack also features artists such asProdigy, Primal Scream, and Black Grape. The "Stingray remix" of Bush's "Mouth" will be on the soundtrack of "An American Werewolf in Paris," which opens December 9. This remix is the band's current single, and also has a video for it.
