Hole Doing Just Fine; Reschedules Album

[11-12-97 Wed] Even though Geffen Records representatives say everything is running smoothly with Hole's new album, "Celebrity Skin," they have decided to push back the release date to March 24.

There are several rumors about problems; one source says that executive producer Billy Corgan, the frontman of the Smashing Pumpkins, had all but walked away from the project, also that drummer Patty Schemel was on the verge of quitting, because singer Courtney Love was focusing too much time on her movie career (The People vs. Larry Flynt) and Hollywood friends, at the expense of her band. Love has since denied the accusations.
