[11-12-97 Wed] The debut solo album from Jerry Cantrell, of Alice In Chains is finally almost done. The official name is "Boggy Depot," and Cantrell is currently in Seattle working on the final mixes. The long-anticipated album will be out next spring.
The album features bandmate Alice in Chains drummer Sean Kinney in several songs and different bass players on different tracks, including Pantera's Rex Brown, Fishbone's Norwood Fisher, and Primus' Les Claypool. "Boggy Depot" is named after an area in Oklahoma where Cantrell spent time as a child with his family.
