Bush Frontman Injures Hand At Brazilian Show

[11-14-97 Fri] Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale got into a little fight with a fan on Thursday during a sold out concert in Brazil, in which he injured his left hand. This prevented him from playing for the rest of the show. Rossdale's guitar tech, Dale Meekins, was brought to play Rossdale's guitar parts for the rest of the show while Rossdale still sang.

Rossdale was provoked by an over-excited fan who yanked on Rossdale's chain attached to his wallet. He got into a tug-of-war with the fan, and ripped open his left palm and fingers. Meeks will probably play for the rest of South American dates, which is only three more shows. The tour continues on Sunday night in Mexico.
